LG Quadrant

LG Quadrant wheat is a medium-early, awnless variety developed by Limagrain (Germany) and widely used on the Ukrainian market. This variety is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, making it popular for bread-making wheat production. Recommended climatic zones for cultivation include steppe, forest-steppe, and polissia, where it demonstrates stable yield performance.

LG Quadrant plants reach a height of 80-90 cm, with a thousand-grain weight of 43-45 g. The grain protein content is approximately 13%, and gluten content is 23%, ensuring high flour quality and good bread-making properties. The variety's drought and winter hardiness are at a high level, allowing successful cultivation under various climatic conditions in Ukraine.

Sowing rates vary depending on planting time: 3.7 million seeds per hectare for early sowings, 4 million for medium sowings, and 4.5 million for late sowings. Thanks to its combination of high productivity, excellent grain quality, and resistance to stress factors, LG Quadrant ranks among the leading wheat varieties in the European market.
