LG Aragonit

LG Aragonit — a medium-maturing winter wheat variety, distinguished by high quality and yield. This variety features vigorous tillering and high cold tolerance, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe and Polissia regions. The recommended seeding rate is 3.5 to 4.5 million seeds per hectare. The wheat exhibits high lodging resistance and demonstrates excellent tolerance to major diseases, including leaf septoria, powdery mildew, fusarium head blight, as well as yellow and brown rust. LG Aragonit is characterized by high drought tolerance, enabling successful cultivation under limited water conditions. The variety has medium protein and gluten content, ensuring good grain quality for food use. Yield potential reaches 9–12 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for intensive farming in central and northern regions of Ukraine. Developed by European breeding programs and adapted to various agroclimatic conditions, it tolerates dense planting and shows high resistance to drought and diseases. LG Aragonit is suitable for cultivation in regions such as Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Ternopil, and other areas of Ukraine. Packaging is provided in 50 kg bags, convenient for farmers during sowing.
