KWS Sphere

KWS Sphere is an early-maturing winter wheat variety, distinguished by high yield and improved leaf and ear health. It is suitable for cultivation in various quality classes and is characterized by high drought tolerance, making it an optimal choice for regions experiencing pre-summer droughts. The variety demonstrates good winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under challenging climatic conditions.

One of the key features of KWS Sphere is its high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including ear fusarium, powdery mildew, brown and yellow rust, helminthosporium, leaf septoria, and stem rot. Additionally, the variety shows resistance to root rots and soil-borne viruses such as SBCMV. These qualities significantly reduce the risk of yield losses and improve grain quality, as confirmed by its classification in quality group A and bread wheat class 2.

The variety exhibits moderate height and tillering, a 1000-grain weight of approximately 7 grams, and good earing ability. It is recommended for planting following maize and other crops, facilitating efficient crop rotation. The variety was registered in 2024 and meets high seed quality standards, ensuring reliability and effectiveness during cultivation.
