KWS Peplum

KWS Peplum is a winter wheat variety developed for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The variety is characterized by low early tillering and strong plant development with high absolute biomass. Test results show that KWS Peplum yields vary from 875 to 1031 kg/ha, with crude protein content ranging from 13.3% to 14.0% and wet gluten extraction reaching 24.2%–28.2%. The variety demonstrates high resistance to major diseases, including powdery mildew, Fusarium head blight, leaf septoria, yellow and brown rust. The recommended seeding rate is 350–500 germinable seeds per square meter, ensuring optimal plant development under early, normal, and late sowing.
