DN Vita

DN Vita — medium-early simple modified hybrid sweet corn with FAO 270, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia. This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to root lodging and stem lodging, ensuring reliable yield even under adverse weather conditions. Plants reach a height of 230–240 cm, with the ear positioned at 105–110 cm from the base of the stem.

The DN Vita ear has a length of about 24 cm and contains 14–16 rows of kernels with a red cob. Kernels are yellow-orange, oval-shaped, with a 1000-kernel weight ranging from 280–300 g. The hybrid is characterized by high drought and cold tolerance, confirmed by 9-point scale ratings — it scores 9 points across all resistance parameters. Pre-harvest plant density varies depending on the cultivation zone: in the steppe — 50–55 thousand plants per hectare, in forest-steppe — 80–90 thousand, in Polissia — 90 thousand.

DN Vita is intended for grain production and exhibits stable productivity due to a combination of high resistance to adverse factors and optimal morphological characteristics. Registration in Ukraine’s State Register of Plant Varieties was planned since 2017, confirming its adaptability and demand in the country’s agricultural sector.
