Wheat Bilberi

Consistent Performance in Unpredictable Climates

Winter wheat "Bilberi" by Agrokray is designed for growers who prioritize predictability. In the diverse climate of Ukraine, this variety distinguishes itself through robust winter hardiness, scoring 8 out of 9. While other varieties often struggle with crop thinning following harsh February winds or sudden spring frost-thaw cycles, "Bilberi" demonstrates exceptional regeneration capacity.

A Biological Shield for Your Field

The core strength of this variety lies in its genetic resistance to major pathogens that frequently jeopardize yields, specifically brown rust, Fusarium head blight, and eyespot root rot. This resistance offers a direct financial advantage: by reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications, "Bilberi" lowers production costs while maintaining a healthy flag leaf and ear throughout the critical growth stages.

Yield Potential for Intensive Farming

With a vegetation period of 270–280 days, this variety is optimized for efficient moisture utilization. When managed with an intensive farming approach, "Bilberi" achieves a potential yield of 10–11 tons per hectare. It is important to note that this is a high-performance variety: it performs best on well-managed soils with appropriate mineral supplementation, rewarding the grower with output levels competitive with premium Western European genetics.

• Excellent tillering capacity.
• Reduced pesticide dependence due to inherent disease resistance.
• Consistent grain quality under intensive management.

"Bilberi" is the ideal choice for medium and large-scale enterprises focused on intensive agriculture, aiming to maximize profitability while minimizing losses to fungal diseases without over-relying on chemical inputs.
