TELEXX

The hybrid corn TELEXX (Syngenta Teliase) is a medium-early variety with FAO 220, developed by Syngenta. It is characterized by high and stable yield, reaching potential of 14-15 tons of grain and 7-8 tons of silage per hectare. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia, and is recommended for spring reseeding of winter crops. Due to its rapid early growth and erect leaf arrangement, it ensures enhanced photosynthetic efficiency and early plant development. TELEXX exhibits high adaptability and resistance to stress conditions such as cold and drought, with maximum ratings of 9 out of 10 for these traits. The hybrid also shows tolerance to major corn diseases, including helminthosporiosis, fusarium, stalk rot, and smut, which contributes to plant health and stable yields. The grain contains 8.8–9.7% protein and 72.4–73.5% starch, making it versatile for use as grain, silage, and meal. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is the Cruiser treatment, which provides protection against soil and above-ground pests during early growth stages, enhancing the effectiveness of insecticides and fungicides. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: from 40,000 to 75,000 plants per hectare. TELEXX is not recommended for monoculture and requires moderate herbicide application, especially avoiding high doses of sulfonylurea. This hybrid combines high productivity, resistance, and adaptability, making it an advantageous choice for modern farmers.
