MIP Darunok

The soft winter wheat variety MIP Darunok was developed by individual selection from a hybrid population and is characterized by high winter hardiness, rated 8–9 points. It has moderate drought resistance and resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, leaf septoria, and fusarium of the ear. Due to these qualities, the variety is well adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie.

MIP Darunok demonstrates high grain yield at optimal sowing dates, as confirmed by scientific research. The influence of natural-geographical factors and weather conditions on grain yield and quality was studied on experimental plots, where the variety showed stable and high performance. Analysis of grain quality revealed that MIP Darunok not only forms high productivity but also excellent baking properties, making it in demand for producing high-quality flour.

Optimal sowing dates play a key role in achieving maximum yield and quality of grain for the MIP Darunok variety. Late sowing reduces winter hardiness and yield, so it is important to consider hydrothermal conditions, the variety's reaction to predecessors, and regional climatic features. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, confirming its versatility and adaptability to local conditions.
