The variety exhibits enhanced resistance to Fusarium ear blight, kernel shattering, root rots, and brown rust. Cold resistance and winter hardiness are rated at 8 points, which is above average, and drought tolerance is also rated at 8 points. Additionally, Belynda has high resistance to lodging (8 points) and powdery mildew (9 points). The 1000-grain weight is 42-45 g, protein content ranges from 13.4 to 14.0%, and gluten content ranges from 28.7 to 29.7%.
