Buckwheat KALININSKAYA

Stability and Performance in Buckwheat Production

The "Kalininskaya" variety, developed by the Russian Research Institute of Reclaimed Lands, has established itself as a staple for intensive agriculture. As a determinate variety, it represents a refined approach to buckwheat cultivation, focusing on crop consistency and resilience in varying environmental conditions.

Agronomic Profile and Efficiency

The core strength of "Kalininskaya" lies in its manageability. With a plant height of 70–90 cm, the variety exhibits exceptional resistance to lodging, which is a critical factor for producers looking to maximize yield through efficient mechanical harvesting. The vegetation period of 72–85 days offers significant flexibility, allowing for optimized planting schedules in various regions.

• Variety Type: Determinate
• Vegetation Period: 72–85 days
• Plant Height: 70–90 cm
• Key Strength: High lodging resistance

The selection work conducted by the Institute is specifically aimed at mitigating risks associated with extreme weather. Due to its structural characteristics, "Kalininskaya" efficiently allocates nutrients to the grain, ensuring a high-quality harvest even when moisture levels are less than optimal. This reliability makes the variety a preferred choice for farmers who prioritize proven, high-performance genetics for their operations.
