SIGMA is a compact and undemanding crop that quickly grows up to 160 cm and easily fits in any garden or container.
The leaves have a light green hue with a slight bluish waxy coating, while the flowers are small bluish-violet racemes about 3–4 cm long. When the plant matures, elongated pods and dark brown seeds appear.
Growing SIGMA is simple: it quickly goes through the vegetative period – just 62–72 days to the first cut and up to 93 days to full seed maturity. Green mass yield is about 100 kg/ha, and hay is almost 30 kg/ha, making it useful for both animal feed and household use.
This crop is characterized by good disease resistance and decent yield, so it is ideal for both experienced farmers and those just starting to garden.
