Vetch – an annual fodder legume widely spread in Ukraine. The «Pribuz'ka‑19» variety is distinguished by high nutritional value: green mass reaches 60–70 %, and hay yield is up to 80 c/ha. Vetch exceeds peas and lupin in protein content, while its fodder units are excellently digestible by all types of livestock.
Vetch culture grows up to one meter in height and blooms in mid-summer. The fruit is a pod with slightly flattened winged seeds (up to 9 pieces). When sowing, it is recommended to use a mixture with oats, peas, or cabbage crops to improve yield and hay quality.
The «Pribuz'ka‑19» variety is characterized by purity of 98–99 %, moisture of 12 %, and reproduction of 2. It is suitable for both hay production and feeding animals in the green pod phase, providing high-quality feeds with high protein content (123 g per fodder unit).
