Vetch Belotserkovskaya 623

Maximizing Forage Yields: The Potential of "Belotserkovskaya 623"

For agricultural producers focusing on high-quality hay and protein-rich green forage, selecting the right vetch variety is crucial for livestock profitability. The "Belotserkovskaya 623" variety, developed by the experts at Білоцерківська ДСС ім. О.К. Коломієць, is a reliable tool known for its resilience and adaptability to Ukrainian climatic conditions.

Agronomic Advantages and Disease Resistance

The primary strength of this variety is its comprehensive resistance to pathogens. In high-humidity conditions, where the risk of fungal outbreaks is elevated, "Belotserkovskaya 623" maintains high productivity levels. The crop shows strong resistance to a wide range of common diseases:

• Anthracnose and Ascochytosis;
• Peronosporosis and Powdery Mildew;
• Fusarium wilt;
• Rust.

With a plant height ranging from 80 to 120 cm, the variety is well-suited for mechanized harvesting. Its high leaf-to-stem ratio ensures excellent protein accumulation in the green mass, which is vital for developing high-nutrition livestock diets.

Why choose this variety

"Belotserkovskaya 623" is an optimal solution for farms looking for:

• A reliable source of high-digestibility green feed.
• Farms operating in temperate zones where phytosanitary resistance is a key factor for crop security.
• Predictable vegetation cycles that facilitate efficient haymaking planning.

While the variety requires standard agronomic practices, its robust natural immune system helps minimize expenditures on chemical fungicide treatments. This makes "Belotserkovskaya 623" an economically sound investment for both small-scale farmers and large agricultural holdings looking to secure their feed supply.
