Vetch Znahidka

A Reliable Protein Source for Your Crop Rotation

The spring vetch variety 'Znakhidka', developed by the Krasnohrad Research Station of the UAAS, is a staple in the Ukrainian forage production sector. Unlike many intensive foreign hybrids, this variety demonstrates remarkable resilience and plasticity across varying soil and climate conditions in Ukraine.

Key Advantages

• Seed Vigor: With a thousand-seed weight of 55–70 g, the variety ensures uniform emergence and high initial growth potential.
• Versatility: 'Znakhidka' is perfectly optimized for both high-quality hay production and 'green conveyor' systems, making it an essential asset for livestock-focused farms.
• Adaptability: The variety exhibits strong early-stage development, effectively outcompeting weeds and reducing the need for intensive pesticide applications.

Target Audience

'Znakhidka' is the ideal choice for farmers prioritizing a balanced livestock diet without excessive fertilizer inputs. While it thrives best in cultivated soils, its lack of strict requirements makes it a robust solution for diverse farming operations. It is particularly effective in mixed crops with cereals, where it acts as a reliable source of nitrogen and nutrient-rich biomass.

If your goal is to secure a predictable harvest of high-protein forage with minimal operational risks, 'Znakhidka' is a proven professional tool. In the face of climate instability, this variety serves as an essential insurance asset for your forage portfolio.
