PRIOBSKAYA 25 is an early-maturing variety of grain wheat 'Vika', intended for both flour production and green fodder and hay. The variety is distinguished by accelerated maturity: the vegetation period is 68 days, which is 26 days faster than standard spring varieties. Thanks to this, farmers can complete sowing work earlier and reduce storage costs.
The yield of PRIOBSKAYA 25 is high – up to 30–35 t/ha under optimal conditions, and the average yield is about 28 centners per hectare. When grown as green fodder and hay, indicators reach approximately 38 centners. The grain quality is characterized by medium-strong density, making it suitable for industrial flour production.
The variety possesses resistance to major diseases: fusarium (Fusarium), root rot, and viral diseases, as well as withstands low temperatures down to –10 °C. This allows the use of PRIOBSKAYA 25 in moderately continental climatic conditions with cold winters. Protein content of the grain reaches 23.8%, making it a valuable feed product.
For sowing, a density of 20–25 kg/m² and a sowing period – 25–30 days after the start of autumn at a temperature of 12–15 °C and soil humidity of 60–70% are recommended. Regular fertilization and pest control ensure stable growth and maximum yield. Seeds have a mass of 1000 pieces – 46.7 grams.
PRIOBSKAYA 25 represents a reliable choice for farmers seeking high productivity, accelerated maturity, and disease resistance when growing wheat in moderately continental regions.
