The vegetable pea variety Salinero is an early-maturing variety registered in the State Register for the Central Chernozem region in 2024. The time from mass emergence to the first harvest is approximately 58 days, enabling a quick harvest. The plant features a short stem without fasciation and green leaves with a grayish tint and waxy coating. The flowers are white with a concave sail base, and the lower pod attachment height reaches 18 cm. Dark green pods, 8 cm long and 1.4 cm wide, contain 6-7 wrinkled seeds with complex starch grains. The 1000-seed mass varies from 150 to 200 grams, and the taste evaluation reaches 5 points, indicating high flavor quality.

The Salinero variety is suitable for canning and freezing, making it versatile for various storage and usage methods. The commercial yield is 48 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity. Peas are well-adapted to the Central Chernozem region and exhibit stable yields. The number of pods per plant ranges from 5 to 9, ensuring good production volume per plant.
