Vegetable pea of the ALPHA variety is an early-ripening variety with a vegetation period ranging from 45 to 65 days. The plant is semi-dwarf, reaching a height of 50-60 cm and does not require support. Pods have a slightly curved shape with a pointed tip, measuring 7-9 cm in length and about 1.4 cm in width. Typically, each pod contains 5 to 9 round peas of medium size, which are distinguished by their dark green color, tender and meaty texture, and a slightly sweet taste. The peas are almost without empty space, making them especially filling and attractive to consumers.

The ALPHA variety is valued for its high protein content, which is similar in composition to animal protein, as well as vitamins, including vitamin C, carbohydrates, and mineral salts. In terms of caloric content, this pea exceeds other vegetable varieties by 1.5-2 times, making it a nutritious and useful product. Due to its cold-hardiness, pea seedlings successfully withstand spring frosts, and resistance to diseases such as fusarium and ascohitosis ensures a stable and high-quality harvest.
