Pea variety Combi is one of the largest modern varieties. The pod length reaches 14-15 cm, and the peas grow up to 10 mm in diameter, distinguished by uniformity and excellent taste. Plants are strong, with stems about 80 cm long. Starting from the 14-15th node, each plant forms two long pods with large peas. The pods ripen uniformly, and the period from germination to technical maturity takes 50-60 days. Immature peas in the technical maturity phase are an excellent snack for both children and adults.
Combi variety is recommended for fresh consumption and is also suitable for freezing and canning. Seeds are sown in early May on the sunny side of the plot, at a depth of 3-5 cm, with row spacing of 25-30x3 cm. Sandy loam and clay loam soils are preferred, and fresh organic fertilizers are not recommended before sowing. Crop care includes regular watering and soil loosening, especially during flowering and fruit setting, which promotes good growth and yield.
Combi variety is characterized by high yield and quality of fruits, making it a universal choice for cultivation in home gardens. Due to its large and tasty peas, it is suitable for various uses, including fresh consumption, freezing, and canning, allowing the preservation of the product's beneficial properties and taste for a long time.
