The period from full emergence to technical maturity ranges from 47 to 61 days, enabling a quick harvest. The plant features a short stem, medium-sized leaves with dark green coloration and large white flowers. Pods are straight, medium in length and width, with a parchment layer, and dark green in technical maturity. The green pea yield from pods reaches 40-49%, and the flavor quality of fresh peas is rated as good to excellent. Sienna is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions. In the Northwest region, yield reaches 75 centners per hectare, 8 centners per hectare above the average standard, in the Volga-Vyatka region — 59-80 centners per hectare, and in the Central Chernozem region — 34-55 centners per hectare. The variety is suitable for cultivation without irrigation, demonstrating resistance to adverse conditions and slow accumulation of active temperatures. Each pod contains approximately 7 seeds of medium and medium-small size, uniform in color, with strongly wrinkled yellow seeds. Sienna is suitable for mechanized harvesting and exhibits synchronized ripening, facilitating harvest collection. Due to high leaf petiole density with waxy coating and disease resistance, the variety shows high stress tolerance and resistance to major diseases.
