Fodder beet Komaro F1

Yield Stability and Marketability: Why Choose «Komaro F1»

For professional vegetable growers focused on long-term storage, the "Komaro F1" beet from the Russian breeding company "Gavrish" is a reliable tool for achieving predictable results. In the Detroit-type table beet segment, this hybrid stands out primarily for its agronomic performance and resistance to crop-specific diseases.

Key Benefits

• Flawless Internal Quality: A major challenge in beet production is the presence of light concentric rings that diminish market appeal. With "Komaro F1," the root crop exhibits a uniform deep red color with no rings, which is essential for both processing and the premium fresh produce market.
• Disease Immunity: The hybrid shows significant resistance to cercospora leaf spot. This allows farmers to reduce the number of fungicide applications, lowering production costs and minimizing chemical impact on the soil.
• Storage Capacity: With a maturation period of 100–110 days, the hybrid fits perfectly into standard harvest schedules. It is engineered for long-term winter storage: the firm structure of the root crop maintains its quality and flavor until spring.

Who is this choice for?

"Komaro F1" is optimal for commercial farms serving the fresh produce market and retail sector. The rounded shape makes it convenient for packaging and logistics. While specifically bred as a table beet, its high density and nutritional value are recognized by farmers who prioritize consistency.

Considerations: Like all Detroit-type hybrids, "Komaro F1" requires proper crop rotation and consistent soil moisture during the root formation phase. Under severe drought conditions without irrigation, yield potential may be constrained, consistent with most high-output modern varieties.
