Description Monorubra
Monorubra table beet is a medium-late variety with a vegetative period of about 130 days, developed by the breeding company MORAVOSEED in the Czech Republic. This hybrid features a cylindrical root with a smooth surface and a single-stem type. The beet flesh is bright red, free of rings and coarse fibers, providing a pleasant sweet taste highly valued both for fresh consumption and culinary processing.

Monorubra is intended for cultivation in open ground and requires warm conditions: air temperature should not be lower than 8-10 degrees, and soil temperature — 6-8 degrees. For successful growth, seeds should be sown at a depth of 3-4 cm with spacing of at least 3 cm between seeds and 20-30 cm between rows. Soil moisture should be monitored, and watering should be conducted as needed. After germination, thinning should be performed to maintain a spacing of about 5 cm between plants, which promotes the formation of high-quality, uniform roots.

The Monorubra variety exhibits good resistance to stress and major diseases, ensuring a stable and high yield. The roots have good transportability over short distances, although they have a relatively short storage life. Due to the combination of excellent taste, resistance, and stable yield, this variety is highly sought after by both producers and consumers.
