BOMBOVOZ

The eggplant variety "Bombovo" is an early-maturing variety, characterized by a period from mass sprouting to fruiting of 100-110 days. The plants are compact, reaching a height of about 80 cm and differ in high fruit-set, which ensures a good crop load. The fruits have an ellipsoid shape, a length of about 16 cm and a diameter of 9 cm, with an average commercial fruit weight of 300 to 500 grams. At technical ripeness, the fruits have a dark purple color with a strong gloss, and spines on the calyx are very rare or absent entirely.

The fruit flesh is whitish, dense and tender, with a small amount of seeds and without bitterness, which gives the product an excellent taste. Due to these qualities, the variety is recommended for home cooking and seasonal preparations for winter. "Bombovo" is resistant to temperature fluctuations and most common diseases, as well as tolerates drought well, which makes it universal for growing in various climatic conditions.

The variety is suitable for growing both under film shelters and in open ground, especially in southern regions. The yield of the variety reaches 7.5-8.0 kg per square meter, which indicates its high productivity and efficiency when growing.
