Red Bul

Red Bull table beet — a mid-early hybrid of American selection from the company United Genetics, intended for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions. The vegetation period lasts 100-110 days, allowing harvest by the end of September. The roots are round in shape with a smooth, deep burgundy skin, 8-10 cm in diameter and weighing approximately 250-300 g. The flesh is uniform, crisp, moderately juicy with a pleasant mildly sweet taste and distinctive aroma. Beet is characterized by high sugar content and excellent flavor qualities, making it versatile for culinary use, processing, and fresh consumption.

For successful cultivation, select sites with loose, fertilized soil, provide moderate watering as needed, timely weeding and thinning of plants at the 3-4 leaf stage, leaving 10-12 cm between seedlings. The crop responds well to complex fertilizers in early development stages and does not require frequent watering. The optimal temperature for fruit maturation is 15-20 °C. After ceasing irrigation two weeks before harvest, beet retains its firmness and flavor qualities during storage.

Red Bull is resistant to diseases, particularly cercosporosis, which reduces the risk of crop losses and simplifies crop care. The leaf rosette of this variety is small with a small growing point, facilitating agricultural operations. Due to its stable yield and quality characteristics, this variety is suitable both for commercial cultivation and personal use.
