The root color is dark red or burgundy, and the flesh has a rich color without radial rings, veins, or fibers, ensuring excellent market appearance.
The Loma variety is characterized by high disease resistance and adaptability to agrotechnical conditions, making it suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine, including unfavorable regions. The yield potential is 6.5 to 8 kg per square meter. Beet is well-stored and suitable for both household use and industrial processing. The roots contain up to 8-8.6% sugar and 10-12% dry matter, providing a rich and pleasant taste.
For planting, use fertile, well-drained, and moist soils, sowing seeds in April-May. Harvesting is performed using specialized machinery, ensuring product integrity during transport over any distance. Seeds are packaged in sets of 200, convenient for small farms and farmers aiming for a stable and high-quality beet harvest.
