BORDO DELICATESSE

Bordo Delicattes is a mid-season table beet variety with a maturation period of about 90-120 days. The root crops have a round or round-flat shape with a smooth surface and a weight from 150 to 500 grams. The flesh is dark red or purple, juicy, tender, and sweet, without white veins or ringiness, which ensures high taste quality and an attractive appearance of the vegetables.

This variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 3-8 kg per square meter, and good resistance to bolting, cracking, and rotting. Beets store well during the winter period, especially with late sowing, which allows for use over a long period. Due to universal application, root crops are suitable for boiling, baking, pickling, and making juice, which makes them in demand in cooking.

In addition to excellent taste qualities, Bordo Delicattes beet possesses useful properties: high magnesium content contributes to improved heart function, and iron helps normalize hemoglobin levels.
