Description RED ICE
RED ICE is a modern, fast-maturing table beet variety developed by LLC "Agrofirma AELITA". The period from germination to the beginning of technical maturity is about 90-95 days, which allows for a quick harvest. The root crops have a round shape, smooth surface, and a weight from 110 to 300 grams. The beet pulp is tender, juicy, and dark burgundy in color without rings, a quality that is preserved even after heat treatment. The variety is valued for its high yield, increased content of betaine and sugars, as well as its resistance to bolting and root cracking, making it an excellent choice for processing and long-term storage.

RED ICE is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, but it requires fertile and moist soil to achieve maximum productivity. The optimal temperature for growth ranges from 15-23°C, and seedlings cannot withstand frost. For sowing, the recommended rate is 10-12 seeds per linear meter or 1-2 grams per square meter, with a sowing depth of 3-4 cm and a row spacing of 45 cm. During growth, it is important to control pests and weeds throughout the entire vegetative period.
