BORSHETS

Borshets is a mid-season variety of table beetroot intended for making borscht, salads, and canning. The vegetative period ranges from 85 to 100 days from the first seedlings. The plant forms a compact leaf rosette from small dark green leaves. The fruits have an oval shape, the average weight varies from 250 to 450 grams, and most of them are without defects. The skin of the beetroot is smooth, thin, and dark red, while the flesh is juicy, sweet, dark red with characteristic white-pink rings.
