Sugar beet TSUNAMI

TSUNAMI — a sugar beet hybrid distinguished by high resistance to diseases and drought, ensuring stable yield even under extreme conditions. This mid-season variety features a technological wide-conical root shape, which facilitates easy extraction from soil with low contamination levels. The root immersion in soil is average, which aids in harvesting during the medium period. The vegetative period is 150-160 days, which is optimal for the Volga-Vyatka and North Caucasus regions.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to root rot, cercosporosis, ramularia, and powdery mildew, as confirmed by trials in various regions. The foliage is healthy, with an intermediate leaf rosette shape, which promotes good plant development and reduces the risk of disease. TSUNAMI is also characterized by resistance to acidic soils, expanding its cultivation possibilities.

The hybrid's yield reaches 93 tons per hectare, with sugar content varying around 17.3-19.4%, and sugar yield reaching up to 16.1-16.34 tons per hectare. High juice purity and excellent storability during storage make this variety attractive for processing and storage. Due to its characteristics, TSUNAMI is a reliable choice for agrarians seeking to obtain a high and quality yield of sugar beet.
