MOLNIA

Molnia is a sugar beet hybrid developed by 'SoysSemSvekla' selection, representing a mid-season variety with a vegetation period of about 150 days. It features a technological root shape - widely conical, which facilitates extraction from the soil and ensures low contamination levels. The root has medium soil immersion, contributing to harvesting convenience and high storability during storage. The foliage rosette is spreading, indicating a healthy plant leaf apparatus.

Molnia is characterized by high yield - up to 83 tons per hectare, as well as high sugar content in the roots - about 18.3%. Juice purity is high, which positively affects sugar yield, reaching 15.2 tons per hectare. The hybrid is resistant to various diseases, including cercosporosis, ramularia, root rot, and powdery mildew, ensuring crop stability even under extreme conditions. Additionally, the variety possesses high drought resistance and is adapted to acidic soils.

Molnia is recommended for cultivation in the Volga-Vyatsk and North Caucasian regions, where it demonstrates its best qualities. Early harvesting dates allow for effective use of agrotechnical measures and minimize crop losses. Thanks to the combination of high productivity, resistance to adverse factors, and harvesting convenience, this hybrid is a reliable choice for sugar beet producers.
