SAXONIA KVS

SAXONIA KVS is a single-stem diploid hybrid of sugar beet belonging to the NE type, distinguished by high yield and an average-early maturity period. The plant is of medium height with a wide-conical root of medium length, weighing approximately 665.6 g. The vegetative period lasts about 160 days, allowing for effective use in the North Caucasus region. Average root yield reaches 619.2 c/ha, with a sugar content of 16.8%, ensuring a high sugar harvest of about 107.0 c/ha.

The SAXONIA KVS hybrid is characterized by high sugar content and exceptional juice purity, making it particularly attractive for processing. It belongs to the normal-sugar type NZ and demonstrates resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as afanomyces, fusarium, scab, and cercosporosis. Drought tolerance and high heat tolerance allow the hybrid to maintain stable productivity even in complex climatic conditions.
