Achieving Stable Sugar Beet Yields with the Horizon Hybrid

In modern sugar beet production, selecting the right hybrid is about balancing high sugar content with harvesting efficiency. The "Horizon" hybrid, developed by "SoyuzSemSvekla," is designed for agricultural enterprises focused on intensive cultivation technologies that require predictable crop performance throughout the entire growth cycle.

Agronomic Profile and Practical Use

Created by a team of originators led by V.A. Sukhorukikh and R.V. Berdnikov, this hybrid demonstrates a well-calibrated response to mineral nutrition. Its primary purpose is to ensure a stable sugar yield per hectare in regions where root crop resilience to extreme fluctuations in moisture and temperature is critical.

• Seeding and Emergence: Uniform germination when optimal sowing dates are followed, reducing the need for replanting.
• Harvesting Technology: The root crop's position in the soil allows for the use of standard sugar beet harvesting equipment with minimal loss during lifting.
• Storage: A crucial aspect for processing plants is the high storability of the roots, which maintains the technological quality of the raw material during transport to sugar refineries.

Practical experience shows that "Horizon" is effective in farms with moderate-to-intensive fertilization regimes. It is highly responsive to timely disease control, allowing the hybrid's genetic potential to be fully realized during the root-bulking phase. If your priority is supply chain reliability and predictable responses to agronomic inputs, this product from "SoyuzSemSvekla" is a strategic addition to your seed portfolio.
