Sugar beet variety Sporta is a classic diploid hybrid oriented towards high yield and sugar content. This hybrid is genetically characterized by increased sugar content, making it particularly valuable for sugar production. Sporta demonstrates high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including root rot, cercosporosis, rhizomania, and powdery mildew, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.

Hybrid Sporta is characterized by high root crop yields, reaching 87.5 tons per hectare, and sugar content at 18.3%. The recommended seeding rate is 1.4 seeding units per hectare. Seeding can be conducted early, allowing the crop to be adapted to various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe. The optimal cultivation technology involves row seeding with 45 cm row spacing and seed depth of 2–3 cm, promoting uniform plant development and maximum area utilization.
