Wave

The sugar beet hybrid «Wave» is intended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth and North Caucasus regions. This medium-maturing variety is characterized by a vegetative period of 150-160 days and a wide-conical root shape, which is easily extracted from the soil and is distinguished by a low degree of contamination. Thanks to the technological shape of the root and its medium immersion in the soil, «Wave» ensures ease of harvesting and good storage life.

The variety demonstrates high yield — up to 83 tons per hectare, with a sugar content of 18.3% and a sugar output of 15.2 tons per hectare. It possesses stable productivity and high juice purity, making it attractive for industrial cultivation. «Wave» is distinguished by resistance to acidic soils and high drought tolerance, which expands its application possibilities in various agro-climatic conditions.

The hybrid has good resistance to a number of diseases: high to ramularia and root rots, medium to powdery mildew and cercosporosis.
