Sugar beet of the KW Jaltushkiv variety is a unique Ukrainian product, featuring a cylindrical root shape and an average weight of about 700 grams. This variety is characterized by large roots with a relatively smooth surface, which facilitates harvesting and reduces soil adhesion. The vegetation period lasts up to 120 days, and the plant exhibits resistance to drought and cold, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, with moderately corrugated leaf blades, and the root system is taprooted, penetrating to a depth of 2–2.5 meters, ensuring good nutrition and plant stability.

KW Jaltushkiv demonstrates high resistance to diseases such as cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rot, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. Thanks to these qualities and proper selection of the variety for specific growing conditions, farmers can expect stable yields and high sugar content. To enhance cultivation efficiency, the use of potassium humate — a natural fertilizer — is recommended, which promotes increased yield and improved beet quality with economical seed treatment.
