Description STOLETOW
Beet sugar variety STOLETOW is a medium-maturing, high-yielding Ukrainian product with a vegetation period ranging from 95 to 120 days. The roots have a cylinder-conical shape, dark red color with a burgundy tint, and an average weight of about 700 grams. They are deeply embedded in the soil, facilitating harvesting due to their relatively smooth surface, which retains less soil. Yield of this variety reaches up to 60 tons per hectare, making it attractive for cultivation in both industrial and private farms.

The plant is resistant to drought and cold, ensuring stable growth under various climatic conditions. The leaf rosette is semi-spreading, with medium-sized leaf blades that are solid and moderately corrugated. The root system is taprooted, penetrating to a depth of 2–2.5 meters, which contributes to good nutrition and resilience against adverse factors. Additionally, the variety is resistant to diseases such as cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rot.

Sugar beet STOLETOW is widely used in culinary and industrial applications. It is used for preparing traditional dishes such as borscht and kvass, and also serves as a feed crop with minimal waste. Technical applications include sugar and syrup production. Due to its good taste qualities and storage capability, this variety is suitable for processing as well as for fresh consumption.
