Beet sugar variety SR637 is a high-yielding variety with high potential for yield and sugar content of the roots. The plant forms a medium-sized, semi-spreading rosette of leaves with dark green, medium-thickness leaves and moderately wrinkled surface. The root has a cylindrical-conical shape, average weight around 700 grams, with a relatively smooth surface, facilitating harvesting and reducing soil adhesion. The root is deeply embedded in the soil at 85%, contributing to its good storability and preservation.

Variety SR637 is characterized by high resistance to drought, cold, as well as to major diseases of sugar beet, such as cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rot. The root system is taprooted, penetrating to a depth of 2-2.5 meters, ensuring the plant with good nutrition and resilience to adverse conditions. The vegetation period is up to 120 days, making it suitable for mid-term harvesting.
