Description Kvarta
Quarta is a sugar beet variety intended for obtaining high-quality raw material with high sugar content. This biennial root crop is characterized by high yield and increased sugar content, making it in demand both for industrial sugar production and for feed purposes. The seeds of the Quarta variety exhibit rapid early germination and good adaptability to various growing conditions, ensuring a stable and high yield even in challenging agro-climatic zones.

The Quarta variety is characterized by resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as rhizomania, cercosporosis, and anthracnose, as well as nematode resistance. These features make it an optimal choice for regions with intensive sugar beet and potato crop rotations. The recommended planting density is 100-115 thousand plants per hectare at a seeding rate of 1.4 seeding units per hectare, which contributes to achieving maximum yield.

Growing the Quarta variety on fertile black soils of Ukraine ensures high sugar content — up to 17.7% and root crop yield up to 83 tons per hectare. Thanks to its agronomic and biological characteristics, this variety is a reliable and effective solution for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and high-yielding sugar beets.
