Sunflower Grand Sanny

Stable Yields in Variable Climates

The «Grand Sunny» sunflower hybrid from «Sonyachnyy Nastriy» is designed for farmers who prioritize stable yields and risk mitigation in their crop rotation strategies. With a vegetation period of 100–110 days, this mid-early hybrid allows for efficient harvest planning, helping to manage machinery workload during the peak season.

Integrated Phytosanitary Control

The core strength of «Grand Sunny» lies in its robust genetic resistance. In environments where high humidity increases the risk of fungal outbreaks, this hybrid provides reliable protection against key sunflower pathogens:

• White rot (Sclerotinia);
• Downy mildew (Peronospora);
• Phomopsis;
• Phoma.

This resistance profile is particularly valuable for farms with intensive crop rotation, where soil-borne pathogens are a constant concern. Using this hybrid helps optimize fungicide applications, ultimately reducing production costs per hectare.

Field Application and Performance

Thanks to its balanced 100–110 day growth cycle, this hybrid adapts well to standard sowing windows. It shows predictable performance across various soil types found throughout Ukraine. Farmers choose «Grand Sunny» when the goal is to balance high oil content with reliable field health. During harvesting, the uniform crop height and structure ensure that headers operate smoothly, reducing header losses and simplifying the threshing process for grain operators.
