Sea-buckthorn "Lord" – a male variety with high pollination potential, designed for use as a pollinator for female plants. The variety is characterized by a medium ripening period and a lack of berries on the branches, making it exclusively useful as a source of pollen.
Constant resistance to low temperatures allows growing "Lord" even in regions with a cold climate; the plant withstands frosts down to -25–30 °C. Moreover, the variety demonstrates good resistance to most diseases and pests, reducing the need for aggressive chemical control.
For optimal growth, it is recommended to plant plants 3–5 meters apart from each other, with the ratio of male to female plants not exceeding 1:5. "Lord" prefers light areas with sufficient moisture; in arid climatic conditions, regular watering is required. An adult bush reaches a height of 2.0 to 3.0 meters and is suitable both as a separate plant and as part of a composition.
