Description
Lisichka is a medium-growing sea buckthorn bush, reaching a height of about two meters and having a weakly spreading crown. The shoots are dark brown, slightly curved, and matte, while the leaves are narrow and rich green. The bush is easy to transport due to its resistance to shoot withering.
The fruits of the Lisichka variety are large, weighing from 0.7 to 0.9 grams, have a cylindrical shape, and a bright reddish-orange hue. The flesh is juicy, dense, with a pronounced sweet taste and aroma. The berries contain about 157 mg% of vitamin C, making them a valuable source of antioxidants.
The variety is characterized by a medium ripening period – fruits appear at the end of August-beginning of September, and the yield reaches up to ten kilograms per bush. Lisichka quickly gains fruiting: the first berries appear as early as the third-fourth year after planting. Thanks to its versatile use and excellent taste, the berries are suitable both for fresh consumption and for making compotes, jams, juices, and other dishes.
