Description Sudarushka
Sudarushka is a medium-sized sea buckthorn bush with a sprawling, rounded crown of medium density. The stem is straight, with dark grey bark, and the shoots are covered with short thorns in the upper part. The leaves are of medium size, sessile and flat, light green on top and silvery-light on the bottom.

The fruits are large, broadly oval, bright orange with a rosy tint and noticeable spots on the top. The taste is sweet-sour; sugar content is about 7%, acid – 1.5%. The fruit contains a high amount of vitamin C (≈105 mg/100 g) and oils (≈7%). The average fruit weight is approximately 0.8 g.

Yield reaches 13.6–16.3 kg per plant at 6–7 years of age, equivalent to 18.9–22.6 tons/hectare. Fruits ripen by the end of August. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and moderate heat tolerance; it is drought-resistant and resistant to pests (sea buckthorn fly, aphid). To ensure stable high yields, it is recommended to grow on fertile loam or loamy soils with good moisture. Sudarushka is suitable for a wide range of applications due to its taste and nutritional properties.
