This variety is distinguished by its resistance to a number of diseases, including race 1 of fusarium, race C of ascochitis, and bean yellow mosaic virus, which ensures crop stability and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. RIF 12 pea is grown in various regions, including the Central Black Earth and West Siberian, where the average yield reaches 29.1 and 26.9 c/ha respectively.
