Field pea variety Kaban is a medium-maturing variety with a vegetative period ranging from 64 to 87 days. The plants reach a height of 40 to 74 cm, have a shortened stem, and good foliage. The variety is distinguished by its high resistance to shattering and lodging, as well as moderate drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions, particularly in the Penza region and the Republic of Tatarstan.
One of the key features of the Kaban variety is the absence of a parchment layer in the pods, which improves seed quality and facilitates their processing. The yield of the variety reaches 16.4 centners per hectare, and the protein content in the seeds is 21-22%, making this pea a valuable source of plant protein.
Additionally, under the brand name Kaban, pellets with a pea flavor are released, consisting of a mixture of pellets of different diameters (16-20 mm). Such pellets are designed for long fishing sessions, allowing to keep fish at the spot. The packaging is 1 kg, which is convenient for use and storage.
