Description Gulliver
Gulliver — a mid-early daikon variety, renowned for its excellent taste and dietary properties. The vegetation period from full emergence to technical maturity is 35–50 days. The roots are smooth, white, cylindrical in shape with a conical taper, weighing 200–300 grams. The flesh of the roots is white, juicy, firm, tender, and has a slightly sweet taste without bitterness or spiciness. This variety is characterized by high marketability and yield, reaching 60–70 tons per hectare.

Gulliver is cold-resistant and low-maintenance, allowing it to be grown both in open ground and in greenhouses. The roots of this variety are weakly leafy, with medium-sized foliage, well-tolerant of low light conditions, and suitable for winter storage. However, the variety negatively reacts to excessive amounts of nitrogen and organic fertilizers, and does not tolerate dense planting.

The roots are easily harvested from the soil, simplifying the harvesting process. Daikon Gulliver is widely used fresh, as well as for boiling and pickling. Thanks to its excellent taste and versatility, this variety is an excellent choice for cultivation both in home gardens and in commercial agriculture.
