Radish JAROLA F1

Practical insights on growing Semo's Daikon

Working with professional seeds from Semo brings a sense of reliability. Yarola F1 is not the kind of hybrid where you have to guess how much of the yield will be rejected. This daikon behaves predictably at every stage: from sowing to harvesting.

Cultivation nuances

Unlike standard radish varieties, Yarola F1 requires careful attention to soil structure. The root crop has a cylindrical shape and significant length, so in heavy clay soils, the root system may face resistance, leading to deformation. To get perfectly straight white roots, we recommend preparing beds with good drainage and sufficient humus content. This significantly simplifies harvesting—the roots come out of the ground easily without breaking.

Flexibility across the season

The main advantage of this hybrid is its ability to extend the harvest window. The seeds show excellent germination both in early spring and when sown during the summer-autumn period. It is important to consider the daylight hours: if sowing in summer, be sure to monitor soil moisture, otherwise the flesh may lose its signature juiciness. In autumn, Yarola F1 performs better than many competitors, tolerating temperature fluctuations well and maintaining marketability long after harvest.

• Consistency: minimal branching or crooked roots when proper planting density is maintained.
• Efficiency: the seeds from Semo are perfectly calibrated, allowing for precise seeding rates without gaps.
• Storage: the roots do not wilt for a long time after harvesting, which is critical for market sales or storage.

If you are looking for a reliable daikon variety that doesn't require constant tweaking and delivers stable results with standard agricultural practices, Yarola F1 fully justifies the investment.
