Red radish of the Icoon variety is a type of daikon — a large white radish widely used in Japanese cuisine. The root of this variety is long, cylindrical, reaching up to 60 cm in length. The radish flesh is juicy and white, with a delicate flavor without the characteristic bitterness, making it pleasant to eat and versatile for various culinary uses.

The nutritional value of Icoon radish includes low caloric content — only 21 kcal per 100 grams of product, while containing 1.2 grams of protein, 4.1 grams of carbohydrates, and virtually no fats. This composition makes radish a beneficial and light product that can be eaten raw, added to salads, soups, or stewed, while preserving its beneficial properties.

Icoon radish is recommended to be stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, with a storage period of up to 14 days.
