Description Stinger
Stinger F1 is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, intended for cultivation in open ground. The vegetation period is 47-50 days, allowing for two harvests per season. The plant is bush-type with a strong root system that efficiently absorbs moisture and nutrients, ensuring active growth and development. Open-type bushes with lateral stems evenly lying on the soil, promoting good illumination of all plant parts. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation on trellises, in rows, and can successfully be grown using temporary covers, tunnels, and agro-films for protection against sudden temperature fluctuations. Stinger cucumber fruits are uniform, elongated, cylindrical, with a thin, wavy skin of saturated green color and small white spines. Fruit length reaches 12-14 cm, weight varies from 50 to 125 grams depending on growing conditions. The flesh is dense, juicy, crisp, with a pleasant sweet taste without bitterness. Fruits are not prone to deformation or overgrowth, ensuring their attractive appearance and high quality for fresh consumption and preservation. The Stinger hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including powdery mildew, downy mildew, anthracnose, cladosporiosis, bacterial disease, and cucumber mosaic. Seeds are prepared for sowing and ensure stable germination. Due to its characteristics and reliability, Stinger F1 is an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers aiming to obtain a high-quality, productive crop with good taste and market properties.
