The 'Virovsky white' radish is an early-ripening vegetable with round white root crops, sometimes with a light light-green or light-lilac pigmentation at the base. The root crop size varies from 3.3 to 4.2 cm in length and from 3.0 to 4.1 cm in diameter, with a mass from 20 to 29 grams. The flesh is white, oily, tender and sweet, which makes this radish particularly attractive for fresh consumption. Thanks to its structure, it retains freshness for a long time and does not wilt, which is an important advantage for storage and transportation.
The variety is distinguished by high yield - up to 2.3 kg per square meter, as well as resistance to bolting, which facilitates its cultivation and improves crop quality. 'Virovsky white' radish is recommended for growing in open ground, but closed ground is also possible. The optimal temperature for growing is 16–22°C. Sowing is carried out from April to June, sowing depth is 2–2.5 cm, with row spacing of 15 cm and plant spacing of 5 cm. The maturation period is from 26 to 33 days, which allows obtaining a fresh crop already in June-July.
This radish variety is not only tasty and healthy, but also has a number of unique qualities. White radish is considered more tender and better absorbed by the body compared to red, which is especially important for people with a sensitive stomach. It is rich in vitamins and valuable substances that enrich the spring diet and contribute to strengthening health. Thanks to its taste qualities and decorative appearance, 'Virovsky white' will be an excellent addition to salads and other dishes, giving them elegance and freshness.
