Sunshine potato is a high-yielding ultra-early table variety developed by the German breeding company Solana GmbH & Co. It is characterized by its rapid maturity and can produce marketable yield as early as 40-50 days after planting. Plants are of medium height, semi-upright, with intensely green leaves and white flowers, which ensures good plant development during the vegetative period.

The tubers of the Sunshine variety have an elongated-oval shape, uniform, with smooth light-yellow skin and shallow, barely noticeable eyes, giving them an attractive market appearance. The average tuber weight ranges from 80 to 140 grams, and the flesh has a creamy hue and good taste qualities.
