The ALANIA potato variety is a mid-early table variety characterized by stable yield and high adaptability to hot and dry conditions. Plants have medium height, intermediate type, and semi-erect stem positioning. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and the flower bud is also medium-sized, which is typical for this variety.

The ALANIA potato tubers are round, with smooth white skin and weight ranging from 78 to 140 grams. The tubers surface is covered with numerous small eyes. The flesh is white and does not darken upon cutting, making this variety especially attractive for culinary use. The potato does not overcook easily, making it ideal for making fries, chips, and salads.

Seed potato production of ALANIA is carried out by LLC 'FAT-AGRO' in a unique phytosanitary highland zone of North Ossetia-Alania at an altitude of 2100-2500 meters above sea level.
